DogWorldBase Terms

1. Provider
dogworldbase.com is operated by Kynologic Sp. z o.o., ul. Półwiejska 17/26, 61-888 Poznań, Poland, KRS 0001066149, NIP 7831890477, e-mail info@dogworldbase.com. Your DogWorldBase account is separate from accounts in the provider’s other services. BreedManager (breedmanager.eu) may — at the breeder’s request and with their consent — send animal data to DogWorldBase through a data-exchange interface (API).
2. Services
- Microchip lookup — free. Shows whether a number is in DogWorldBase (with anonymous contact to the owner) and, through partners, which external registries hold it. Owners' details are never shown.
- Lifetime registration — one payment, no subscription. Includes a finder's page, anonymous messages, lost mode with partner alerts and transfer to a new owner.
- QR tag — goods shipped by post/courier; the code leads to the finder's page.
- Partner programme — for vets, shelters, registries, clubs and distributors; free, after verification.
Breeders using BreedManager plans that include “Listing in the chip registry” can register animals automatically at no extra cost.
3. Account and entries
An entry may be added by the animal's owner or a person authorised by them. A microchip number can have only one active entry. If the number is already registered, the request is verified — we may ask for a microchipping record or a vet's confirmation. Registering other people's animals, giving false data and using messages for harassment or spam are forbidden; we may block the entry or account.
The owner can transfer the entry to a new owner at any time — the change takes effect only after the recipient accepts.
4. Prices and payment
Prices include VAT. Payments are processed by Stripe (cards) and Krajowy Integrator Płatności S.A. — Tpay (BLIK, bank transfers). The entry is activated and the order accepted once the payment operator confirms the payment. Invoices are issued electronically.
Promotion for BreedManager users. Until 31 December 2026, a lifetime registration of an animal started with the “Register the microchip in DogWorldBase” button on the animal’s page in an owner account of BreedManager (breedmanager.eu) costs 25% less. The discount applies to one registration of the animal with the microchip number passed from BreedManager and is applied in the cart; the date of the order decides. Next to the reduced price we show the lowest price from the 30 days before the reduction.
5. Delivery of tags
Tags are engraved and shipped within 5 working days of payment; we e-mail the tracking number.
6. Right of withdrawal (consumers)
Consumers may withdraw within 14 days without giving a reason — for a tag from receipt, for a registration from the conclusion of the contract — by writing to info@dogworldbase.com. We refund within 14 days using the same payment method. Tags must be returned within 14 days at the consumer's cost. A tag engraved with the animal's name is made to the consumer's specification and cannot be returned under the right of withdrawal.
If the consumer asked for the registration to be activated before the withdrawal period ends and acknowledged losing the right of withdrawal, the right expires once the entry is active.
7. Complaints
Please send complaints to info@dogworldbase.com; we reply within 14 days. We replace faulty tags free of charge. Statutory consumer rights are not affected.
8. Liability
DogWorldBase helps reunite animals with owners but cannot guarantee that a finder will use the lookup or the tag. Results from external registries come from their operators.
9. Personal data
See the Privacy policy. Microchip numbers and owners' details are not published; finders and owners communicate through the service.
10. Changes and governing law
We announce changes by e-mail at least 14 days in advance. Polish law applies, without depriving consumers of the protection of the law of their country of habitual residence.
